It's been a most unusual season as most of you know. are. For me, it has been in the area of obtaining care to assist with my every day life. If you are new here, I was born with Spinal muscular atrophy and have used a wheelchair for about 40 years. As well, I have been a self manager of my Personal Care Attendants for twenty five plus years. My husband lives with a physical disability as well and he helps me wherever he can. Getting in and out of bed is one area I require the assistance of others. Hiring Attendants during a world wide pandemic has taught me some important things.
