My 1st attempt at at using a tripod for my phone to make vlogging easier. The goal is to help me create goals and share my process, learning how to create with one hand mostly. This is an attempt at uncut blogging talking about everything from Menopause, to New Goals And adapting to our ever changing, aging bodies!
Vlogging on this gorgeous cool to warm November morning after a late late Surprise Campout Night. Because Craig Took so long to get to his "campsite," I ended up editing and creating a couple new videos for my blogs and YouTube channel all night long. This morning vlog, spontaneous as always, discusses why it's been so long discussing some life challenges. No, nothing to do with covid. Surprised myself discussing some new goals after battling some physical and other life challenges.

Yay, a Surprise Campout, and life vlog time. One ongoing, topic is the issue regarding hiring new personal care attendants because a regular one declares they will be leaving us for 2-4. weeks, once or twice a year. ever since her first year. The challenge of hiring new care givers has been unique to say the least. I share why we seem to keep hiring attendants with not much scrutiny. It, what happens when you foolishly let an employee breach the Employee Agreement protocols. You end up having annual and now biannual anxiety attacks, afraid of having no one to hire. Compromises get made and we end up not finding keepers.
Our model employee hired over 13 years ago, and who returned to help while we hire recently, knew every summer she had to go away for 2 weeks so the first year, so she respectfully resigned far in advance. Respecting her decision, because she understood she could not expect to hold the position due to the length of time asked off. Due to her decency and. honouring her employer's protocols, she ended up working for us for over ten years and I accepter her help when I was short staffed, so she was always. able to leave for 2 weeks every summer. It always worked out.
Thanks to God giving. me insight, it is all clear why these past few years have been so compromised and mega stressful with worry. Hiring where we live takes lead time and you want employees who respect an follow the protocols they agreed to in their Agreement. My fault for being to intimidated to be more star about chunks of time off when you are the only one or main one. Especially when employment had just began.

God knows and hears, sees all things. I am trusting in His care.'
Have any of you had these issues regarding hiring care dealing with hire care givers who disregard employee agreements? How did you handle it.
Hope you got something out of this vlog when you see it.
The Morning After Campout .(Means I Slept In My Wheelchair). What A Gorgeous September. VlogFeel free to join us where we address everything from real life, well real life from our unique perspective. My husband and I both use wheelchairs. He provides my primary care, but due to his physical limitations, I also depend on Personal Care Attendants who assist mw with getting into and out of bed. If I am having to "sleep" in my power chair, 98% of the time it means I am short staffed and have to figure out survival with just my husband and myself and of course we know always under God's care and provision.
Thank you for stopping by! Before you say it, yes, I know this video is raw and an uncut vlog. After a night of trying to sleep in my wheelchair. I was excited to get outside to vlog. Beautifying myself was the least of my concerns. So ye, I have boogers! Hope you can look past them an just enjoy my home produced honest vlogs! Thank you for stopping by!
Watch Today's rare adventure. I mean rare. Being a homebody, (artists are sometimes like that because we are in our studio or at home creating) and Craig and I being married almost 20 years next month, we don't do much together. Well other than daily living in our cute handmade house. We got to design this home to suit our needs and friends and family through Habitat for Humanity built it! Since it is so perfect, why would we need to leave it!
Because I do not know how to upload videos from my Samsung phone to make one whole video vlog, here are 6 short parts.

It's another night Camping Indoors. Which means I sleep in my wheelchair and Craig sleeps on the raised futon. I saw somewhere that taping your mouth shut, helps you sleep better especially if you have sleep apnea or snore. Before I Go to Sleep I made a request to my husband. Nothing surprises him!.
I apologize For the severe grogginess , because, I was just about to fall asleep as we recorded part 2 my husband had to turn off the phone camera. Just another night in the life of us!
Hi guys! Last night was the first indoor camp out in a week. At first I thought I was a little bummed that we didn't have one between last week and this week, but I must say after last night I'm glad it was a week apart. So about 530 this morning after my usual hour and a half of sleep or so, I vlogged a little around the neighbourhood babbling a little bit about hiring personal care attendants and other current events.
lA long time ago my husband started trying Tumeric capsules and last year he discovered Moringa powder. Why you ask? He has osteoarthritis and these herbs or spices are apparently good for reducing arthritis pain. They have anti-inflammatory properties. So far I do not believe there are any scientific studies to prove this. But if my husband feels it works then I want to make sure he has them. Being a person who likes creating and trying to save money, I purchased capsule making devices and the powders accordingly, along with the empty capsules. In the end because each capsule size requires a device for each size, we may not have saved money/. But it is. rewarding to make your own capsules, I like cinnamon capsules for a variety of reasons. Needless to say, I have made hundreds of capsules over the years
Here is a short video of them.
Watch Here
These caps were made using size 000, which. meant buying just a small 25 capsule maker. Don't be fooled, these devices don't do it for you, they just are devices that help make it easier.
My other two devices make one hundred. But since I don't like using them the way you are supposed to, I find the small 25 capsule maker faster and easier to use.
I wish campouts could be like this. Meet Leon my "nephew" from way back. Watch below to checkout this weekend's campout vlog where we share why we do this sleeping in our living room thing!
I love this very old picture from the late 80's when my sleeping buddy Bob, was always around. You can't see his cute face but he was a black and white tuxedo cat, with no tail.
Well, tonight we are preparing for another campout night now. How do we do that? Nothing special, just writing this. I am kind of hoping that by the look of the dark forbidding skies tonight, I might get to actually get out and finally watch a thunderstorm in the middle of the night! Normally, I have to just listen to them instead of watch. S yay, another Pro of camping out in my wheelchair. Stay tuned, I definitely will make a video if the storm comes.
Below is the last Campout Night when I was wandering around at 4am. If you really need a diversion,
Watch Right Below....
Definitely, raw and Uncut, a rambling middle aged woman. Most of it makes sense, just wanting to simply share this unique life we have. God has blessed me so much, even when some times may usually not seem so great. God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Romans 8:28. (My paraphrase of that verse).
Sharing personal aspects of our life, is inspired by all the great vlogs we like to watch on YouTubers. Especially the ones who don't polish up their videos, but keep it real and honest, sharing their heart, finding them encoraging, and entertaining. As well, I kinda like to record these most unusual times for our own record.
In the olden days, I would write in my orange, 5 year kid size diary that my dear dad gave me in 1976. He had returned from working at the Summer Olympics in
Montreal for Bell Canada. Dad always brought us souvenirs and special gifts when he was away for his job. I remember he also brought us a Bay City Rollers record. Anyone ever hear of them?
. Nowadays, I get to do this, with some journalling (but not very much). Trying to keep it real, unedited and uncut and of course family friendly is my goal for our channel,
*NOTE about the video above. I apologize that clearly at 4am my thoughts are discombobulated and incomplete at times. Mind you, I am like that all day long too. It may be my ADHD. (I was diagnosed officially in my early 40's.) A follower asked me if I watched the video after I posted it. Not sure so far what they noticed, but I ralized that noticed a point I was trying to make was left incomplete.Just wanted to explain something valuable (to me anyway) that I heard from a Chuck Missler teaching series. But, I didn't get to the point and felt it was good to share the link to the video I was watching where he talks about how the Holy Spirit enables us to understand God's Word. Without Him, we can't. If you are interested Here is the LINK here to the episode I was watching. It was helpful to me.

No the above picture wasn't the orange moon, but you will red about it below. (I did take it).
The other night was a Campout Night. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have been blessed with seeing it. It was a total surprise to me. About 1am, I flew out the door and right in front of me was this incredible moon! All I had was my phone camera, so I started trying to capture it on video....Take A Look :o(
The frustrating part, no matter how I tried or where I went, my video and pics didn't show it's colour or hugeness. But hey, I got to see it, Here are some pics and a snippet video of it.
Bonus, one night through our living room window, with my faithful Canon Powershot, I was able to actual capture some moon details. Those are the great moon pics on this page.
Here is the second subscription box that Craig received for his birthday. It is from A Canadian company. Not sponsored, just something I wanted to get him. Come and see.
Hi guys. It's been a while since posting on my blog site here. It doesn't mean we haven't been living life well. Like the rest of the whole wide world, we too have been living the covid life. Lockdowns continue off and on in our province of Ontario Canada. Over a year later since covid became a world altering thing.
Since we hear enough about it every day, I wanted to share Craig's special and unique 69th birthday gifts this past April 10th! I got the idea from watching You Tube videos. Over the years I have enjoyed (for some reason) watching channels open subscription boxes. What is that you ask. I first remember my teen years when I was able to sign up for some kind of beauty product box that came in the mail every month!
Now days there are subscription boxes for all kinds of interests.Soon, I will be sharing the subscription art box unboxing, I just received on my creativity channel HeartfullyCreating. As well, as art, all things creative like knitting, science activities for kids, arts and. crafts, all the way to foods! So I googled subscription boxes and got the idea when I saw snack boxes. The one that looked like the most fun for Craig was one called Universal Yums. So I signed him up for three months. They send a box of snacks from a different country every month for about 45 CDN.
The video of his unboxing is right below. Because he opened it in April, he has since been eating the items so I also included notes on what he thought of the taste. It is like travelling by staying locked down. A great covid diversion. And who doesn't like to get packages of goodies in the mail!
Wanting to try a healthier alternative I also got him one box from Canada of really good quality snacks. That video will be posted after this one is shared.
Happy 2021 everyone. Hope and pray everyone is well and enjoying amazing weather if you live near us. Warm winters are something I love. However rare they may be.
Craig finally completed his railway painting and gave it to a dear friend. You can see the completed work on the video below!
So he has begun a new landscape scene in acrylic. I was experimenting with his iPhone to see how long it could record a steady stream and it worked well. Told him to regale viewers with his stories/life experiences while he worked.
